International Company is looking for an experienced Credit Control Expert to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Your responsibilities will include independently assessing customers' credit standings, arranging payment terms, monitoring accounts receivable, participating in credit committees, and suggesting process improvements. Here's a summary of what you'll do:
- Communicate promptly and effectively with sales staff about overdue accounts.
- Prepare risk assessment reports based on analysis of customers' financial statements.
- Provide overdue analysis and accounts receivables reports to sales management.
- Maintain control over customer payment discipline and overdue accounts.
- Ensure all customers are monitored and outstanding invoices are collected.
- Instruct the accounting department regarding customer payment allocations.
- Analyze the aging of open items in customer balances.
- Maintain contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment and resolve queries.
- Verify payments and invoice allocations, and reconcile with customers.
- Initiate halting supply of goods and services for late or missed payments, and calculate penalties and customer bonuses.
- Calculate and analyze credit limits, and manage blocking and unblocking of customer sales orders.
- Participate in finance-related projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in treasury (international trading compnany), or international accounting/credit collection.
- University degree (Bachelor) or equivalent, or High School Diploma in Accounting.
- Proficiency in English and Russian.
