"AUTO-EURO" is an international company and has branches in various countries. Own logistics infrastructure and a wide warehouse chain, including 20 sales offices and 5 large logistics hubs, allow prompt delivery of orders. "AUTO-EURO" cooperates with such international brands as Magneti Marelli, Exide Technologies, Victor Reinz and others. Now we are looking for a high performing, dynamic and motivated lawyer at senior (manager) level to lead our corporate legal affairs function and cover all our international business.
Responsibilities:
- Legal support for corporate governance matters in Kazakhstan and other countries of business operations;
- Supervising legal team;
- Day-to-day execution of documents, general maintenance, and administration;
- Close cooperation with Finance, product and logistics team to support international trading operations;
- Dealing with internationsl taxes, currency control, banking matters;
- Corporate housekeeping for all the companies of the Group, other corporate matters e.g. establishing companies, share transfers, opening bank accounts etc.;
- Drafting and reviewing all types of agreements, including merchant services agreements, IP license agreements, general service agreements, indemnity & confidentiality agreements, etc.;
- Analysis of fast-paced legal environment and performing legal research on corporate, commercial, and other issues;
- Drafting responses to customer complaints and requests of public authorities. Written and personal communication with state authorities, banks and customs;
- Commercial litigation [if necessary] (preparing legal position, claim application, participating in court sessions, enforcement proceedings);
- Acting as a family office lawyer;
- Engagement in other important strategic projects of the Group;
Requirements:
- Degree in Law;
- Minimum 3 PQE;
- Impeccable knowledge of civil law, private international law and regulations on international trading, especially within Eurasian Economic Union;
- Russian and Kazakh language proficiency essential. English language proficiency, including strong legal English. Legal drafting in English is a must. Other languages will be a good advantage;
- Experience in multinational companies;
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal);
- Intellectual curiosity, detail oriented and demonstrate thoroughness and strong ownership of work;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in ever shifting and dynamic environment as well as strong organizational skills.
