International biopharmaceutical company AbbVie is looking for Sr. Analyst, Global Trade Compliance based in Almaty
This is contractor role.
Scope of Responsibilities: EMEA including the AbbVie Russian affiliate
Reporting Line: Reports to Manager, Global Trade Compliance-EMEA Commercial
Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support the import/export compliance and operations at our EMEA commercial locations including Russia. This role will help drive adherence with laws, improve operational efficiency, and reduce tariff and non-tariff barriers.
Key responsibilities include management of customs broker activities, coordinating all operational imports/exports, liaison with Customs Authorities and other relevant Government Agencies, support economic sanctions & export controls activities, provide guidance to local AbbVie business personnel, assist in the adherence to trade compliance procedures/policies, and support internal/external audits related to trade activity.
