YOUR WORK-LIFE OPPORTUNITY:About Us:We are seeking a seasoned accountant to manage accounting activities for various companies, collaborating closely with the business to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards while supporting Glovo's financial objectives.Responsibilities: Perform general accounting tasks for two companies, including accrual postings for monthly financial reporting.Conduct balance sheet reconciliations according to service level agreements.Analyse income statements and balance sheets, flagging discrepancies to management when necessary.Manage the extraction and uploading of financial data from the ERP system.Assist in internal and external audit processes.Support timely reporting of financial data, monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local accounting standards.Operate within a rigorous internal control framework. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.2-3 years of experience in auditing or accounting control roles.Proficiency in IFRS principles.Strong understanding of accounting procedures.Experience with general ledger functions and month/year-end closing processes.Advanced MS Excel skills.Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable.Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude.Effective multitasking abilities.
