Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project and Cost Assurance Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of project delivery, cost management, technical coordination, budget preparation, and long-term planning processes.
Main activities are associated supervision of non-operated Asset within Joint Operating Agreement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to follow up project management activities
- Key contributor to the Annual cost cycle of Budget, closing forecasts and Business Planning Cycle.
- Monitor project progress and performance against established plans, identifying and addressing any deviations.
- Conduct regular reviews of project costs and expenditures, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
- Implement cost control measures and procedures to mitigate risks and minimize cost overruns.
- Prepare and present project cost reports and budget forecasts to senior management.
- Analyze project risks and mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate technical resources and activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and technical standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams as needed.
- Follow up on ongoing operational activities of non-operated Joint Ventures (JVs), including production, greenhouse gas emissions, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects.
- Prepare and present reports on production, greenhouse gas emissions, and HSE performance to senior management.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain project management and cost control tools and systems to support effective project monitoring and control.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, finance department, technical teams and headquarters to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs and technical performance.
- Support the development and implementation of project management, cost management, and technical standards and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management or Petroleum Engineering related field
- Proven experience in project management, cost control, technical coordination, or related fields, not less than 8 years.
- Proficiency in English language
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
