Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan

Company: Global Digital Trade Corridor Kazakhstan Ltd. Global Digital Trade Corridor (Global DTC) is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in the development and operation of a cutting-edge digital trade platform. Our mission is to revolutionize trade between Asia and Europe by leveraging the strategic potential of Central Asia countries including Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team.

Job Overview: As the CFO of Global DTC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and governance in both Singapore and Kazakhstan, and fostering a culture of financial excellence within the organization. You will be a key driver of our growth, responsible for managing financial resources, investments, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Provide strong financial leadership and vision, overseeing all financial operations and functions of Global DTC in close partnership with the CEO and management team.
  • Accounting Expertise: Drive the company’s financial planning and accounting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance for Global DTC, shareholders and authorities.
  • Investment Strategy: Develop and execute investment strategies that align with the Global DTC’s goals and financial sustainability. Perform comprehensive risk management and make informed decisions on investment strategies and risks, taking into account organization's liabilities and investments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on financial regulations in Singapore and Kazakhstan, ensuring the Global DTC’s operations remain compliant at all times.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the Global DTC’s strategic plans, providing financial insights and recommendations. Exercise control and evaluate the Global DTC’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead and manage a collaborative and high-performing financial team to support Global DTC’s operations, manage vendor relationships and negotiations to benefit the company, establish and oversee the company's finance IT system to enhance efficiency and up-to-date accurate financial data for decision making.

Professional Requirement：

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in finance and accounting related field.
  • Minimum 6 years experiences (preferably in logistics and/or IT) and 5-10 years experiences in accounting.
  • Full Fluency in English, Russian (must)
  • Strong tax knowledge in Kazakhstan, experience in communicating with Kazakhstan fiscal and tax regulatory agencies.
  • Strong financial planning knowledge (budget, profit, etc.)
  • Extensive Excel, Word and PowerPoint and experience.
  • Extensive accounting systems experience (sap/oracle is preferred).
  • Great teamwork spirit, reliable and responsible
  • Result oriented, can work individually and as team player.

Work conditions:

  • Full time, 5 days per week in office
