Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for overall progress, cost and quality.
- Huawei's senior point of contract with the customer for the duration of the contract.
- Responsible for defining the project organization based on the Scope of Works.
- Ensure that the project is appropriately resourced with the right levels of experience and expertise.
- Management of Consultants, Contractors and Subcontractors engaged on the project.
- Target setting and performance management.
- Leadership and motivation of project team members.
- Evaluation of performance of project team members.
- Budget preparation and management.
- Reporting to Huawei Senior Management and the Customer.
Requirements:
- A Senior Project Manager with at least 10years relevant experience managing international projects.
- A proven track record of delivery.
- Excellent team building, motivation and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent inter personal and communication skills, able to communicate with the Customer and the Project Team at all levels.
- A high level of cultural awareness and experience managing multi-cultural teams.
- An excellent understanding of end to end process delivery.
- Extensive experience in organization, staffing and recruitment.
- Target driven and results focussed.
- Proven Subcontractor management experience.
- Commercial awareness.
