Job Description The company Our client has decided to enter the exciting mining exploration market of Central Asia. They will be setting up a legal entity in Almaty to coordinate their activities across Kazakhstan and decided to run accountancy and finance internally. The Job As the chief accountant/head of finance you will be responsible to set up all systems and procedures from scratch. Directly reporting to the General Manager you will be participating in all main company activitiy from a Financial point of view. The day to day work will include: Setting up of systems Statuatory reporting Taxation Cashflow and Financing Reporting to HQ/Investors Advising key staff in finance related questions The Candidate You have already worked as a chief accountant and ideally were part of a start up team which requires hands on work on the one hand and more strategic and complex thinking on the other in dealing directly with the management and investors. You have a good understand of the local taxation laws and ideally also possess knowledge of the pecularities when it comes to mining and exploration. A good command of English will be important as the Expat CEO does not speak Russia.
