Brand Manager - Kazakhstan
About the role
Brand manager is going to lead OTC brands, responsible for full E2E activation, understanding consumer & customer insights, what drives brand awareness, penetration and consumption. Brand manager will report to Marketing manager and work closely with Customer marketing & Commercial team to deliver results. Brand manager will be the owner of local brand strategy & positioning, guiding and supporting key stakeholders with needed information.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement local short and long term marketing strategies in line with regional priorities, involving cross-functional teams and external clients
- Manage marketing budget under supervision of Marketing manager and ensure its efficiency and accuracy
- Constantly monitor market developments, consumption trends, competition analysis, market insights in order to identify new opportunities and anticipate new trends
- Develop, implement and control brand/category activity plans together with customer marketing
- Engaging the organization in the category and brand vision so that all employees are clear on how to implement it in their areas of expertise
- Effective leadership, project management and participation in cross-functional project team work
- Close collaboration with internal Media team & Media agency, analyze and improve media efficacy together with the team
- Create and adapt brand assets to gain brand communication objectives in close collaboration with regional team; approve creative assets with local authority
- NPI leadership from opportunity assessment to the market launch
- Provide brand/category materials to customer marketing & commercial teams, guide them through brand positioning
- Proactive participation in the main commercial cycle to ensure product availability, brand registration, packaging development, forecasting, price review, assessing supply and demand for existing products and new products
- Collaborate with medical and regulatory departments in the context of brand communications, complaints handling, and other aspects related to legal requirements
- Ensure brand pack design, claims and instruction to be in line with global standards & local regulations
- Collaborate with the region's marketing team to drive and ensure maximum effectiveness of brand strategy, deployment of creative brand assets and tools, and maximum adoption of commercial innovations and new products.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing/Business administration/Economics
- Experience in the Brand management of the leading FMCG or OTC companies for at least 4-5 years
- Fluent English, Kazakh language will be a plus
- Team player with strong Analytical thinking, Communicational and Leadership skills
- Ability to work with different type of data, experience in tracking data from IQVIA, Vi-Ortis, Nielsen and others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Results-oriented mindset, demonstrating a can-do attitude
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and inspire cross-functional teams
- Passion to drive changes, new ideas and challenging status quo
- High organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize projects properly
- Good level of storytelling, presentation skills
