Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience in risk management, with a demonstrated track record in a senior risk management role. Experience in a leadership position or a supervisory role is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in risk assessment software tools and databases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use statistical analysis and risk modeling techniques.
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of risk management within the specific industry of the organization. Understanding of applicable regulations and industry standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present risk findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage and mentor a team. Proven ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to assess and balance the organization’s risk appetite with practical mitigation strategies.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and to lead change management initiatives related to risk management.
