Kazakhstan International School (KIS) is searching for Teaching Assistant (TA):

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher during standard lessons and extracurriculars
  • Preparation of required lesson materials
  • Maintaining discipline in the class
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students during meal times, snacks, and outdoor activities by gathering, accompanying, and supervising them.
  • Offering individual or collective support to students as required.
  • Interacting directly with students to encourage communication, offer aid, and arrange recreational activities.
  • Providing essential assistance to students as required.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory pedagogical education
  • Experience working in an international school (desirable)
  • Proficient in English (must)
  • Fluent in BOTH Russian and English written and spoken
  • Enthusiasm
  • Creative approach
  • Aspiration to elevate teaching standards.

Conditions:

  • Work schedule 7:30 - 16:30; 5/7
  • Free transportation
  • Four vacation periods per year, transfer (if applicable)
